Data, just like Oil, is extracted and sent through data pipelines to the Nebula data refinery where it is refined and transformed on a real time basis and then distributed for consumption to our customers through various application end points.

The Nebula platform has been designed to enable our clients to set up an end to end data pipelines from edge to the cloud for multiple multi-tenanted application scenarios. Data ingestion and queue Management service

Data pipelines/queues for streaming & batch data ingestion and management in realtime. Pub/Sub options on the queues to publish/subscribe for data in real time with thousands of listeners.

Data Normalisation Service

Pre-built data processors to process application data (70+ prebuilt processors available via front-end to help you process and normalise the data in the pipelines).

Data Storage (and Access) Service

Our Steaming data service allows data to be stored and used from an in-memory cache, so your Applications can access it in microseconds. Data is not persistent and is overwritten or removed by the application when not needed. This is mostly used for the storage of key-value pairs, latest states, last location, etc.

Our Hot data service allows your applications to store/use data from data pipelines and queues. This is done for a fixed duration of time, configured for your application. Data can be partitioned for faster storage and access and is not persistent. Data is stored for access within milliseconds.

Our Warm data service stores your data in a database (Relational or TSD) and is offered within the platform. Data is persistent and is retained for a pre-configured duration, then explicitly removed from the storage. Data is stored in flexible EBS volumes that can be dynamically increased in size, modified for provisioned IOPS capacity, and changed volume type on live production volumes. Data is accessed within milliseconds to a few seconds.

Finally, Nebula stores your Applications's Cold data in a warehouse for a fixed duration of time, configured for your Application. Data is persistent and is retained for a pre-configured duration, then explicitly removed from the storage. Data is accessed within 5-10 seconds and has a 11 nines durability ie 99.999999999%.

Data Visualisation Service

For Real-time data Nebula enables the visualisation of streaming data with real-time dashboards. These dashboards subscribe to the data from the pipelines in realtime automatically and updated the frontends of your applications.

For non real-time data, Nebula enables visualisation of data stored in data sinks. Drag and drop functionality offered in a low-code environment allows your applications to quickly and efficiently create dashboards that are needed by your applications.
